Options Beyond Level 6
Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM)
Completion of the Gold Level indicates that students have developed the technical skills, music theory foundation, and performance experience needed to progress to advanced study. After Gold, students may transition to one-on-one private lessons aligned with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Piano Certification curriculum.
Carnatic Music on Keyboard
Students interested in Indian classical music may pursue Carnatic music training on the keyboard, focusing on melodic structures, rhythm patterns, and performance techniques adapted for piano and digital keyboards.
Music Creation & Composition
Music creativity begins as early as Level 1, with students encouraged to explore improvisation and musical ideas. From Level 6 and beyond, students are introduced to the fundamentals of music composition and basic music production, helping them move from playing music to creating their own.
Additional details on this pathway will be shared soon.
Program Structure (Levels 1–6)
Levels 1 through 6 are conducted as one-hour group lessons per week, structured into 30 minutes of guided discovery and 30 minutes of guided song practice. Students use The Piano Express software to practice, track progress, and complete song assessments.
Curriculum & Progression
Each level follows a 12-week curriculum cycle. Students may advance to the next level at their own pace, based on individual practice consistency and demonstrated mastery of the material.
Class Schedule & Make-Up Policy
Classes are offered only during the currently listed time slots. If a student misses a class, parents may schedule a make-up session with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability, on any of the scheduled class days.
